land known as a land of God (Devbhomi Uttrakhand )Becouse in
Uttrakhand, many Temples and holy place in Uttrakhand like Badrinath,
Kedarnath, Gangotri yamunotri, etc. Kandoliya Bada Tample is located a
fantastic spot bounded by dense forest of forest range of pauri and 2 Km
far from pauri main city.
The main temples of the city are Kandoliya Devta, Laxmi Narayan,
Kyunkaleshwar Mahadev and Hanuman mandir. Every year, a ‘Bhandara‘ is
organized in the premise of the Temple of the Kandoliya Devta and
thousands of people from Pauri and nearby villages participate in it.
The city is blessed with a number of picnic spots surrounded by ‘Deodar‘
forests and filled with natural beauty viz. Ransi, Kandoliya, Nag Dev,
Jhandi Dhar etc.
The temple of the local goddess, Kandoliya Devta, for whom the Pauri hills are named, is located in a thick forest, 2 km from Pauri on the road to Lansdowne. The walk affords a stunning view of Himalayan peaks and the Gangwarsyun Valley. Majestic oaks, swaying pines and deodars, sprinkles of rhododendrons, shrubs and a variety of flowers lining the road make for a very pleasant, leisurely afternoon stroll to Bubakhal, another 4 km towards Lans downe. Bubakhal is a junction from where several minor roads snake across to the many villages on the slopes of the Kandoliya Hills.

How To reach pauri

By Bas – 2- or 3 bas of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation is
direct between New Delhi and Pauri. You can take Bas from Kashmiri gate (ISBT)
from New Delhi to Pauri Bas Station. After that you can walking 2 Km to
Kndoliya Temple.
